ABSTRACT

As modern society continues to develop in technological advances and revolution, it is essential to recognize and appreciate ancient traditions that have been practiced by generations of Native Americans. Looking at weaving specifically, Andean culture has been known for methods that have been designed from textile weaving. Popular items made from textile weaving are clothes, hats, or even specific items such as baskets or mantels. By crafting items with organic and natural materials, the quality and decoration have become popular in areas with an abundance of tourism and cultural celebration. This discussion will help recognize the heritage and origin of Andean weaving art.
